Jordan is defined by ancient monuments, nature reserves and seaside resorts. Home to the famed archaeological site of Petra, the Nabatean capital dating to around 300 B.C. Set in a narrow valley with tombs, temples and monuments carved into the surrounding pink sandstone cliffs nicknamed “Rose City.” Not far away across the border is Israel, a Middle Eastern country on the Mediterranean Sea, the biblical Holy Land.

Day 1AMMAN

Upon arrival, pick up by our guide and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2AMMAN - JERASH

After breakfast, visit Jerash and proceed to Amman, visiting its historic downtown, Citadel, the Great Temple of Amman and the Roman Theater.

Day 3AMMAN - DEADSEA

Journey to Mount Nebo the Promised Land. Continue to Madaba. Then, take a dip in the Dead Sea. Upon arrival in the ancient city of Petra, check in to hotel.

Day 4PETRA

Spend a full day exploring Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander amid its baths, markets, Temple of the Winged Lions, Corinthian Tomb, Palace Tomb and Treasury

Day 5WADI RUM

Drive through the landscape of Wadi Rum, with its rose-hued mountains and endless desert vistas. Return to Amman.

Day 6 - 8JERUSALEM

Cross the border into Israel. Pick up by our guide and travel to Masada, ascending by cable car. Continue to the Qumran Caves. Check in to hotel. Visit the Western Wall, El Aksa Mosque and Dome of the Rock. Travel along the Via Dolorosa, passing the Convent of Zion Sisters, the cistern. Proceed to Stations of the Cross and continuing to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

The next day, see Yad Vashem. Visit its museum and Israel’s Parliament. In Bethlehem, visit the Church of the Nativity atop the cave where Jesus was born. Return to hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 9 NAZARETH

Drive to the ancient seaport of Acre. Visit Nazareth. In Tiberias, check in to hotel. The next day, board a boat and stop at Capernaum and St. Peter’s house. Drive up the Golan Heights. Lastly see tranquil Banias, with its beautiful waterfall.

Day 10NAZARETH

Board a boat on the Sea of Galilee, stop at Capernaum and St. Peter’s house. Drive up the Golan Heights, with its views of Lebanon, Syria and the lush Tel Dan. Lastly enjoy the view of tranquil Banias waterfall.

Day 11CAESAREA - JAFFA

Travel to Tel Aviv, stop in Caesarea. Next to the “White City,” a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then take a walking tour of the thriving artists’ colony of Jaffa. Check in to hotel. Free and easy.

Day 12TEL AVIV

Transfer to the airport for a flight back home.
