This lifetime journey takes you first to the world famous Gobi Desert, where a three day circuit explores the best of the arid land: the Khongor sand dunes, Bayanzag – the Flaming Cliffs and the Yoliin Am Gorge, where one can walk on the Gobi glacier. Afterwards, you will visit the Lake Huvsgul, so called the Mother Ocean by the Mongols, and meet the Tsaatan reindeer riders of the Taiga.
Landscape and cultural sightseeing blend easily in Mongolia – you will have the chance to visit families of nomads, remote Buddhist monasteries and traditional events, and to take part in horseriding or guided walking if you wish – there are also endless opportunities for photography.
