Spend a full day touring Vientiane. Stroll through the morning local market, visit Vat Sisaket, Ho Phrakeo, and Patouxay- the triumphal arch of the city, before heading towards the important golden stupa of That Luang.
In the afternoon, visit the Buddha Park of Xieng Khuan before heading back to your hotel.

Spend the morning at leisure before transferring to the airport for your domestic flight to Luang Prabang. Today, explore Luang Prabang with your guide. This former royal capital is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. Visit the famous Vat Xiengthong and Vat Longkhoune among other stunning royal buildings. After lunch, have a private upstream cruise on the Mekong River towards the scared site of Pak Ou caves.

Enjoy another morning at leisure before a late morning transfer to the beautiful Khouang Sy Waterfalls. This majestic site is absolutely breathtaking with its picturesque scenery and natural pools. If the weather allows, swim in these natural pools.
After which, stop by a local village to wander around and interact with the locals.

This morning, depart from your hotel early to watch the daily procession of the monks. The people of Luang Prabang rise up at dawn and respectfully wait for the procession to give alms to the monks in the form of food, rice and fruits. Return back to the hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, continue with a visit to the former Royal Palace. It houses many artefacts and possessions of former Lao Kings. Continue on to Vat Visoun, also known as Vat Visunalat, Luang Prabang’s oldest operating temple. Visit the shrins of That Makmo and Vat Aham.
Return back to the hotel to enjoy the rest of the day free at leisure.
